Police say 27-year-old Crystal Amatulli, of /*Centereach*/, stole checks from her employer.
According to authorities, Amatulli had been hired by a Muttontown woman for two weeks in March 2011.
She allegedly wrote out 12 checks worth a total of $19,000 before getting arrested at her home.
