'White Glove Bandit' commits third robbery

NEW YORK

He walked into a Citibank on 555 LaGuardia Place in Greenwich Village, approached the teller, waived a black revolver, and demanded cash. The bandit then fled on foot heading south on LaGuardia Place towards Houston Street.

He also robbed this same Citibank back on February 14th.

Police believe the suspect to be a white male in his mid to late 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches and medium build with a scar or disfiguration on the right side of his nose.

In each robbery, he was believed to be wearing black shoes, pants, sunglasses and signature white latex gloves.

He carries a black revolver and is usually seen sporting a black red and gray backpack.

He was also seen at HSBC Bank located at 769 Broadway in Greenwich Village on Thursday, January 26th.

A significant reward is available for a tip that leads the FBI to the White Glove Bandit. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI immediately at 212-384-1000. As always, tipsters may remain anonymous.
