Suspect arrested in Queens massage parlor rape

NEW YORK

The arrest came after someone recognized a sketch of the suspect.

Police also received a Crimestoppers tip with the suspect's name.

He was spotted and later arrested on a city bus in Nassau County.

Police say he had a a hunting knife and gun when he was apprehended.

The suspect, 40-year old Zhordrack Blodywon, is charged with rape and robbery.

He is accused of raping a 55-year old woman at the spa in Flushing on October 17th.

Police think he may be responsible for a similar attack at a Greenwich Village massage parlor two months ago.

Video from that attack shows a suspect dragging a victim before he beat her unconscious and raped her.

On Saturday, police say Blodywon robbed the Butterfly Spa in Queens at gunpoint.

Authorities say the break in the case came later in the day when Blodywon walked into a massage parlor in Great Neck and was recognized by an employee, who called police.

After a canvass of the area, they were able to locate the bus he was on and apprehend him.
