Truck carrying scotch overturns, ignites in New Jersey

WOODBRIDGE, New Jersey

Fire Chief Dan Gregan tells The Home News Tribune of East Brunswick the truck was making a turn when it clipped a telephone pole in Woodbridge, hit a parked car and ignited on Tuesday.

The chief wasn't sure whether the truck's fuel or the Scotch ignited. The driver, who works for a hauling company in Newark, was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
