Authorities said Thursday they believe a Sept. 15 accident was caused by a car pulling in front of Carlos Gonzalez Ospina, causing him to swerve and crash.
The 30-year-old Elizabeth resident and father of one died at the scene.
Union County officials have released video footage showing a light-colored sedan pulling directly into Ospina's path after leaving a gas station.
Police say the driver, wearing light-colored pants and a bright top or possibly medical scrubs, briefly stopped before leaving the scene.
Officials are asking the public, or the driver, to police or Crime Stoppers.
