The following service advisories are in effect:
NJ TRANSIT
New Jersey Transit is cross-honoring system wide as well as extended waiting room hours.
Rail Service: NJ Transit will operate trains on an enhanced weekend schedule (normally implemented for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Presidents' Day) on all rail lines except the Atlantic City Rail Line, which will operate a regular weekday schedule. Customers should consult their timetables for details.
Bus Service: NJ Transit will operate buses on a regular weekday schedule. Customers should expect delays or detours on their routes, particularly during the morning commute.
Light Rail Service: NJ Transit will operate light rail lines on a regular weekday schedule. Customers should expect delays in service, particularly during the morning commute.
Access Link Paratransit Service: Access Link service will be suspended statewide. Full service will resume on Thursday, January 23 as soon as road conditions permit.

LIRR
The Long Island Rail Road is operating on a Weekend Schedule, which provides approximately 60 to 65 percent of the trains available on a regular weekday. Customers are advised to expect delays, but no major incidents have been reprorted.
The LIRR also said it is adding eight trains to the Wednesday evening schedule. The eight eastbound trains will be added to the schedule of trains leaving Penn Station between 3:32 and 6:09.
The railroad says it plans to resume regular weekday service on Thursday.
Because of the severe cold temperatures, LIRR station waiting rooms will remain open around-the-clock through Friday afternoon.
Customers who must travel should leave as early as possible and monitor MTA.info/LIRR for service status.
METRO-NORTH
Metro-North Railroad will operate 80 to 85 percent of its normal weekday service, with some trains will be combined and some delays possible based on the condition of track and power systems, the number of train cars available and the availability of crews. PATH
All PATH service is operating on a normal schedule.
MTA SUBWAY AND BUSES
The New York City subway system expects to run close to normal service Wednesday, with express service restored during the morning rush hour as trains that were stored underground on express tracks overnight begin to move.
New York City buses will run at 80 to 90 percent of normal levels, depending on customer demand. All articulated buses and most standard buses will have chains on their tires. Service is subject to change based on street conditions.
AMTRAK Amtrak will operate a modified schedule on the Northeast Corridor between Washington and Boston, the Keystone Service (New York-Harrisburg, Pa.) on Thursday. Acela Express and Northeast Regional service will operate between Boston and Washington, though passengers should expect reduced frequencies on the Keystone line between New York and Harrisburg, with reduced frequencies.
