NEW YORK (WABC) -- A woman delivered a healthy baby girl on the concourse of the World Trade Center PATH Station early Tuesday.
Port Authority police responded to the call of a full-term pregnant woman in labor at approximately 2:30 a.m.
The woman, Marwa Abdrabo, along with her husband and their 2-year-old son, were on their way to the hospital for delivery. The woman said she felt the baby coming, and officers prepared the area for a possible birth.
Authorities said EMS arrived on the scene within a few minutes, and the baby girl, Asenat Abdrabo, was born.
EMS transported the family to New York Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Officer Brian McGraw, an EMT, evaluated the patient and determined she was about to give birth. This is the second baby McGraw has delivered.
