Suspect arrested in sex assault in Flushing, Queens, beauty salon

FLUSHING, Queens (WABC) -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault inside a Queens beauty salon.

Charlie Yu, 41, of Queens, faces several charges, including attempted rape, strangulation, assault and sex abuse

Police said Yu suspect walked into the salon in Flushing March 9 and punched the 29-year-old victim during an argument.

He then reportedly sexually assaulted her before running off.
