PARK SLOPE (WABC) -- Mayor Bill de Blasio has decided to put his Park Slope, Brooklyn, house up for rent while he is living at Gracie Mansion.
The house went on the rental market Thursday for $4,975 a month.
It's a 100-year-old townhouse, with three bedrooms and one bath, featuring a large backyard and private garden.
The listing is by realtor Brooklyn Properties.
The mayor will not be changing his permanent address, though, and will return to the house on 11th Street after he leaves office.
Potential renters will be told there is no option to buy.
The house has an assessed value of $1.4 million, and the mayor has lived there for 14 years.
