BOROUGH PARK, N.Y. (WABC) -- New York City police said a woman called for help using Skype after a vicious sexual assault in her apartment in which her attackers stole her cellphone.

The incident happened Monday afternoon at a house on Fort Hamilton Parkway near 51st Street in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn.

Investigators said two men knocked on the 52-year-old woman's door to get in. The attackers bound the woman's hands and feet with duct tape. One of the men raped her while the other restrained her.

The two men gathered up $300 in cash and two cellphones from the victim's home. They also wiped away evidence inside the apartment and removed the duct tape from one of the woman's hands before leaving, police said.

The victim used her free hand to Skype a friend who then called 911.

Police have not made any arrests in the case, though investigators said at least one of the attackers is believed to know the victim.
