Woman found stabbed to death inside home in Coney Island, Brooklyn

CONEY ISLAND (WABC) -- Police are investigating after a woman was found stabbed to death inside her home in Brooklyn.

58-year old Victoria Hammond was found dead just before midnight on the floor of her living room on West 37th Street in Coney Island.

Investigators say she was stabbed in the stomach and had a head wound.

EMS responded and pronounced her dead at the scene.
