Car plows into candy store on Long Island

ISLAND PARK, Long Island (WABC) -- A car plowed into a candy store on Long Island Friday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 3:20 p.m. at Hope's Land of Candy store on Long Beach Road in Island Park.

It appears the car drove fully into the store, which was open at the time.

Ambulances were called to the scene, but amazingly, no one was seriously injured.

The crash is under investigation.
