3 shot and wounded in Chelsea by person on bike

CHELSEA, Manhattan (WABC) -- Three people were shot in the Chelsea neighborhood early Saturday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m., police said the three were standing outside a store on West 14th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues.

They were shot by someone who rode up on a bicycle.

An SUV may have taken two of the victims to the hospital. The third was transported by EMS to Bellevue Hospital.
