NYC officials, volunteers take part in annual "Citizenship Now!" program

NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York City officials and hundreds of volunteers are taking part in the annual "Citizenship Now!" Program.

During the event, legal experts take calls from people across the country who have questions about resolving immigration issues.

Over several days, the experts from CUNY help people find resources to advance their citizenship process. People who have benefited from the program say it has changed their lives.

The "Citizenship Now!" hotline is open this Monday through Friday. Assistance is available in a variety of languages.
