3 armed robbery suspects holed up inside New Jersey hotel taken into custody

CLIFTON (WABC) -- Three suspects wanted in an armed robbery that were holed up inside a hotel in New Jersey Thursday have been taken into custody.

The situation played out at the La Quinta Inn and Suites on Route 3 in Clifton.

A source out of Passaic County Source confirmed that county, state and Clifton police and SWAT and other agencies were on the scene.

The hotel was evacuated.

The three were wanted for the armed robbery of a taxicab driver.
