FDNY: Missing child found safe at Coney Island Beach

CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A child was found safe after being reported missing at Coney Island Beach, the FDNY confirms.

The child was found just before 3:30 p.m. and was reunited with parents.

Officials originally believed the child went missing in the water, but FDNY confirms they found the child on the boardwalk.

No injuries were reported.
