CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. -- A Long Island man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian last week.
Police say Abdelgheni Dakyouk of East Patchogue was charged with leaving the scene of an incident without reporting a fatality.
He's set to be arraigned in Central Islip on Thursday.
Police say the 37-year-old victim was walking along Route 112 in Coram on Saturday when he was struck.
