Man from Brooklyn charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of diapers

BUSHWICK (WABC) -- A man from Brooklyn was charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of diapers from grocery stores on Long Island.

24-year-old Kevin Hargrove is accused of carrying out the scheme at least 14 times.

Police say he would use the self-checkout after swapping price codes on diapers with tags from cheaper items.

Hargrove could face further charges - police believe he has been stealing diapers for years.
