Man arrested after 2 men shot, killed in apartment building in Melrose section of the Bronx

MELROSE (WABC) -- Police have made an arrest in a double shooting in a Melrose apartment building in the Bronx Monday morning.

Darryl Page, 26, of the Bronx, and Tykquan Fennell, 23, of the Bronx, were found each shot in the head inside a seventh floor elevator at 3125 Park Ave just before 11 a.m.

They were taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where they were both pronounced dead.

Willie Stukes, 44, of the Bronx, has been arrested and charged with two counts of murder in the second degree.

Residents were not immediately allowed back into the building while the investigation is underway.
