Young girl in the hospital after East Flatbush fire

EAST FLATBUSH (WABC) -- A young girl is in the hospital after first responders rescued her along with 5 other people from a fast-moving fire inside a Brooklyn building.

The fire started on the second floor of the building in East Flatbush early Saturday morning.

The blaze filled the third floor with smoke - that was where firefighters found six people, three of them unconscious, including the young girl.

Crews are still working to determine what caused the fire.
