3 firefighters injured in 3-alarm fire in Yonkers

YONKERS (WABC) -- A three-alarm fire in Yonkers injured three firefighters.

It happened on Locust Hill Wednesday afternoon inside a three-story wood frame house.

There was heavy fire when firefighters arrived at the scene.

Some 12 fire companies and 40 firefighters battled the blaze.

15 people were displaced. Yonkers OEM and Red Cross arrived at the scene to assist residents.
