Flushing, Queens residents return to homes after manhole fire

FLUSHING, N.Y. (WABC) -- Carbon monoxide levels are back to normal after a manhole fire forced the evacuation of three homes in Flushing, Queens.



The fire, on 58th Street, resulted in high levels of carbon monoxide in three buildings just after 9 a.m. The homes were evacuated as Con Edison checked carbon monoxide levels in the adjacent houses.



Con Edison is working on the manhole.
