FLUSHING, N.Y. (WABC) -- Two bodies were pulled from a vehicle's wreckage after it crashed into a tree in Queens.
Both victims are unidentified men, the 28-year-old driver and the 26-year-old passenger, and they were pronounced dead at the scene in Flushing.
The force of impact pushed the 2005 Dodge Stratus into a tree at 164th Street and Booth Memorial Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. It had been traveling eastbound on Booth Memorial Avenue at a high rate of speed, and jumped a sidewalk before striking the tree. No one else was affected or injured.
The identities of the victims have not been released. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
