Coquito competition held in Brooklyn

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Brooklyn played host Friday night to New York City's finest creators of a popular Latino holiday tradition.

The local finals of the International Coquito Masters Competition were held in Downtown Brooklyn.

The handmade beverage is typically made with cinnamon, coconut, nutmeg, rum, and a variety of secret ingredients.

Friday night's winner was Rosemary Colon of the Bronx.
