Update: Stalking of child turns out to be misunderstanding in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- UPDATE: Eyewitness News previously reported a story about an 11-year-old girl who thought she was being stalked in Brooklyn. Police now say that this was not the case.

The man who was thought to be following the child is a man with a mental disability known to area residents.
