HARLEM (WABC) -- A three-alarm fire burned through a large building on the corner of Fredrick Douglass Blvd and West 155th Street in Harlem.
The fire started just before 7 p.m. Friday at a chicken restaurant on 2925 Fredrick Douglass Blvd.
The building has three separate businesses on the 1st floor - a Chinese food restaurant, a deli and a chicken restaurant. There are apartments and a small mosque on the second floor.
There are no injuries reported.
Firefighters were pulled from inside the building because of the intense heat and questions about the stability of the building. Firefighters fought the fire from the street with multiple tower ladders and hand lines in use.
Firefighters expect to be fighting the fire all night.
The NYPD closed Fredrick Douglass Boulevard from West 154th Street to West 156th Street.
The Red Cross is responding to help any affected residents.
