Doctor who went to Africa transported to Bellevue
Josh Einiger has the latest on a man who recently traveled to Liberia and is being isolated at Bellevue for evaluation.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A doctor who just returned from Liberia was taken to Bellevue Hospital Tuesday, he tested negative for Ebola.

The man, 58, was transported from a building on the Upper West Side.

He is being evaluated at the hospital.

Health officials say the individual did not have contact with Ebola patients while in West Africa, and was asymptomatic upon return.

He was said to have been feeling sick with gastrointestinal issues and feeling a little incoherent, and contacted the hospital.

Due to his travel history and current symptoms, the patient has been isolated, according to the health department.
