Bill Ritter and Sade Baderinwa honored by CCNY

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Bill Ritter and Sade Baderinwa were honored to accept an award from the City College of New York Alumni Association.

Ritter accepted the award on behalf of himself and Baderinwa at a gala Thursday night in Midtown.

The 11 p.m. Eyewitness News co-anchors were honored with The John H. Finley Award for Service to the People of New York City from CCNY, the first college in the CUNY system.

Finley was one of the first CCNY presidents.

Ritter says that he will keep Baderinwa's award for her until she returns to work.
