IRS will start accepting tax returns this Tuesday and some will be eligible for a free file program

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WABC) -- The IRS will start accepting tax returns for 2015 beginning Tuesday.

This year more than 70 percent of taxpayers are eligible for the IRS free file program.

It gives anyone who makes below $62,000 a year access to free tax preparation software.

70% of taxpayers are expected to get a refund this year.
