Suspects sought in jewelry theft at Madison Avenue store

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN (WABC) -- Police are searching for two people who stole several pieces of jewelry from a Madison Avenue store.

The couple robbed Links of London in Midtown on the afternoon of Dec. 14th.

According to investigators, a woman stole eight pieces of jewelry from a display case while the man she was with blocked the employee's view.

The suspects then fled the scene. The value of the stolen jewelry is not known.

The woman is described as light complexion, in her late 40's, blonde hair, wearing glasses.

The man is described as light complexion, in his early 50's, approximately 5'10", wearing black framed glasses.
