Residents of Queens apartment complex fuming after trees cut down

KEW GARDENS, Queens (WABC) -- They live in an idyllic rental complex in Queens called "Dale Gardens," or at least it used to be idyllic.

Residents there are now angry because dozens of old trees and plants have been cut down. They say it looks like a tornado hit it.

The owner, however, insists he's building new lush gardens.

But, that's not placating residents in the complex in the Kew Gardens section.
