2 suspects wanted for stealing from high-end clothing stores on Upper East Side

Suspects wanted for grand larceny on Upper East Side

UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man and a woman caught on surveillance stealing from at least three high-end Upper East Side clothing stores.

In each instance, once the man and woman are in the store, the female suspect takes clothes off the racks, goes into the changing areas, and then both suspects leave without paying for the items.

The first incident happened at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, October 26 at 18 E. 69th Street, the Five Story store. A total of $15,400 in merchandise was taken. Police released surveillance video of the suspects at this location.

The second incident happened at Intermix on Madison Avenue at around 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5. A total of $10,500 in merchandise was stolen.

The most recent incident happened at around 1:37 p.m. on Thursday, November 20 at 711 Madison Avenue, the Roberto Cavalli store. A total of $33,000 in merchandise was taken.
