$1 million winning ticket in Mega Millions drawing sold in New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (WABC) -- Someone in Illinois is holding the winning ticket in the Mega Millions jackpot of $260 million from Tuesday night's drawing.

In addition to the jackpot winner, 14 second-prize tickets are worth $1 million.

Two of those were sold in New York and one in New Jersey.

The New Jersey ticket that matched the 5 white balls to win the $1 million second prize was purchased at Pierre's Deli in Monmouth Junction in Middlesex County.

20 New Jersey tickets were sold that matched the 4 white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, winning the $5,000 third prize.

The Mega Millions jackpot resets to $15 million for the next drawing, which will be held on Friday night.
