Villages West condo complex in Melville destroyed by fire overnight

MELVILLE, N.Y. (WABC) -- Fire burned through a condo building in Melville overnight Thursday.

The fire shot through the roof of the building at The Villages West complex just before 2 a.m.

About 20 residents were left homeless by the fire. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
