Missing child alert cancelled for 16-year-old girl from the Bronx with developmental disabilities

BRONX (WABC) -- New York State authorities have cancelled a missing child alert for a 16-year-old girl from the Bronx.

Karla Galarza went missing at approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday and was last seen in the area of 358 East 149th Street in the Bronx.

Karla is a white/light skinned Hispanic female, 5'8" tall, weighs 140 pounds, has brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair (last seen in a ponytail). Karla was last seen wearing eye glasses, faded gray jeans, calf-high black boots, and a pink polar fleece with pink down vest.

Karla is diagnosed with significant developmental disabilities, low cognitive function, bi-polar disorder, other psychiatric conditions, and is in need of multiple prescription medications. Karla has family and friends in various areas in the Bronx.
