If you're looking for a great Halloween costume for your kid, make sure you phone home to Stephanie Pokorny.

The mom crafted up a detailed Halloween costume for her nearly 2-year-old son Jack based off of E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial's beloved alien. The costume took a total of four days to complete, incorporating all of the Pokorny's crochet-mastery.

"My grandma taught me to crochet when I was 16 on a fabulous old 70s style couch and I have been at it ever since," the self-proclaimed crochet lover and Halloween nut told ABC. "Each year I try to make as many components of our costumes as I can, as we try to do a collaborative one for our family."

Pokorny shared an image of her son wearing the E.T. costume on the Facebook page for Crochetverse, a crafty, online destination where Pokorny shares crochet patterns and tutorials.

"Great job! It looks like it might even fit him next year!! I bet (he will) REALLY remember this halloween!" wrote one Facebook user.

"Wow! That is an amazing costume. I can only guess at the amount of love and work that went into making the coolest costume I've ever seen," wrote another.

The mom is thrilled that her out-of-this-world costume is getting plenty of love here on Earth.

"As a lover of all things 80s, It was a natural for me to do ET," Pokorny said. "I am so happy he is bringing smiles and laughs to people!"
