Police searching for two women who mugged elderly man in the Bronx

MORRISANIA, Bronx (WABC) -- Police in the Bronx are looking for two women who attacked a senior citizen.

The NYPD released surveillance photos of the women accused of targeting a 76-year old man in the Morrisania section.

Police say the pair followed the victim for several blocks Saturday from the intersection of Third Avenue and East 163rd Street to Melrose Avenue and Elton Avenue.

One of the women then confronted the man while the other punched and knocked him over.

The women took the victim's wallet from his pocket and ran away.

Suspect #1 is described as approximately 25-35 years old, 5'8" tall, 150lbs., and last seen wearing a bandana, three-quarter fur hooded black jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Suspect #2 is approximately 25-35 years old, 5'3" tall, 140lbs., and last seen wearing a dark hooded sweater with white lettering in front of it, blue jeans and black sneakers.
