City officials investigating several cases of mumps in Far Rockaway

FAR ROCKAWAY (WABC) -- City officials are investigating several cases of mumps.

The Health Department told Eyewitness News on Saturday night that it is looking into a small cluster of mumps in Far Rockaway. The Health Department said anyone who is ill has been asked to stay home while infectious.

There were approximately 120 cases of the mumps in the 5 boroughs in 2014, and 3 cases recently in Far Rockaway.
