Investigation underway after decomposing body found in New Rochelle apartment

NEW ROCHELLE (WABC) -- Police in Westchester County are investigating after a decomposing body was found inside an apartment in New Rochelle.

Authorities say the discovery was made shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday in an apartment on Centre Avenue.

New Rochelle police say they are in the early stages of the investigation, and are trying to determine whether the case involves suicide or foul play.
