Have you ever wondered how people know that they're in New York City? From delicious pizza to troublesome subway grates, here are 27 tell-tale signs:



1. You'll get the best tasting pizza you've ever had for just ONE dollar a slice.









2. You can see the neon lights in the Crossroads of the World.









3. Broadway is more than just a street.









4. The rest of the world opens for business...the New York Stock Exchange.









5. You're a part of the largest St. Patrick's Parade in the world.









6. The ball drops in Times Square and starts the New Year.









7. You can hear almost every language spoken on the street.









8. Fashion isn't copied here. It's made here.









9. Nearly as many people come to work here every day as live here.









10. One word- cronut. Even the rats enjoy eating them!









11. When you don't need a sign to tell you when to cross the street.









12. When a naked cowboy sings to you in the middle of Times Square.
