NEW YORK -- The League of Women Voters of the City of New York urges you to get out and vote this November! Help turn around New York City's historically poor voter turnout, by being an active citizen and voting for the candidates of your choice.
The league's Five Borough Challenge is all about empowering us all. It's a city-wide challenge by the League and all Five Boroughs to increase the number of registered voters and, equally importantly, the number of voters who turn out at the polls in November.
The challenge is centered on the high-profile 2016 presidential election that also includes the election of New York State Senators, members of the Assembly and members of Congress.
If you are not registered, there is still time! Register to vote by October 14th.
