CORTLANDT MANOR, New York (WABC) -- Members of the New York National Guard got quite the homecoming on Veterans Day, as 100 soldiers returned from a 10-month deployment.
There were smiles, tears, hugs and kisses as the Guardsmen and women returned after nearly a year at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. And the staging area, at Camp Smith, was filled with their loved ones.
Eyewitness News reporter Marcus Solis was there, and he has their stories. Watch the video above to see his report.
