2 people hurt in manhole explosion in Fordham

FORDHAM (WABC) -- Two people were hurt in a manhole explosion in the Bronx.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of East 188th Street and Webster Avenue in the Fordham section.

The two victims suffered minor injuries.

Con Edison crews were on the scene late working on electrical equipment.

So far, no outages have been reported.
