9 injured, including 3 children, in Brooklyn apartment fire

EAST NEW YORK (WABC) -- Nine people, including three children, were injured in an apartment fire overnight in Brooklyn.

The fire, on Liberty Avenue in East New York, broke out just after midnight Monday.

One of the injured is in serious condition at Brookdale University Hospital.

The other injuries are considered minor.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
