Body found in Bronx River may be missing Bronx father

SOUNDVIEW, Bronx (WABC) -- A body pulled from the Bronx River Wednesday afternoon could be that of a missing father in the Bronx.

Javier Horta, 34, disappeared while out with friends on March 25th.

He worked as an assistant at the New York Public Library and is the father of a 3-year-old girl.

The Medical Examiner is working on determining the identity of the body and a cause of death.
