Section of Bronx building facade falls to sidewalk

EAST TREMONT, Bronx (WABC) -- A parapet fell five stories off a building in the Tremont section of the Bronx on Tuesday morning.

The 4-foot piece of stone broke off from the fifth floor of the building on East 184th Street just before 5 a.m.

No one was struck.

A section of the sidewalk was closed as police and the buildings department investigated.
