Police looking for man who opened fire on Brooklyn street, leaving 1 wounded

CROWN HEIGHTS (WABC) -- Police have released surveillance images of a man opening fire on a street in Brooklyn.

Security cameras captured the suspect running on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights with a gun in his hand Friday afternoon.

Police say he fired several times, shooting a 22-year old man twice in the leg.

The victim is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

Detectives are trying to determine the motive for the attack. The suspect was last seen running eastbound on Prospect Place.

The suspect is described as approximately 6'0" tall, weighing 150 lbs., with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing blue pants, a white shirt with blue horizontal stripes and white sneakers.
