Police questioning teen girl after bodies found in Sheepshead Bay housing complex apartment

SHEEPSHEAD BAY, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are questioning a 15-year-old girl after two dead bodies were found in a Brooklyn apartment.

The bodies of a woman and her boyfriend were discovered just after 7 p.m. Sunday at a housing complex at the Sheepshead Bay Houses on 2364 Batchelder Street.

The 39-year old woman was found dead in the back bedroom. The 40-year old man was found in the kitchen.

The woman had been shot multiple times, while the man had been shot and stabbed, police say. It is believed they were killed Dec. 27th.

Officers describe the scene as 'bloody', and hard to process.

The teen being questioned is the daughter of the woman who was killed. Police say the girl has implicated herself in the murders, but she has not been charged.

Police are also looking into the possibility that another person was involved.
