Reputed gang members accused of running drug and gun ring in Brooklyn building

EAST FLATBUSH (WABC) -- A dozen reputed gang members are under arrest as part of what authorities say was a drug and gun ring that ran through an East Flatbush apartment building.

The arrests were made when officers raided a Linden Boulevard apartment building just after 6 a.m.

The suspects will appear in federal court on drugs and firearms charges later Thursday.

The arrests were made by FBI agents and NYPD officers in a joint operation.

Several others were arrested simultaneously in New Jersey, West Virginia and Georgia.
