Reward offered in brutal beating death of homeless man in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE (WABC) -- Police in Westchester County are searching for suspects in the brutal murder of a homeless man.



Lowell Edmund, Jr., was found just before midnight on May 26 in the parking lot of a CVS drugstore on North Avenue in New Rochelle.



Authorities say he was bleeding profusely from his head.



He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.



A $2,500 reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
